Guan Eng: Dakwaan nama saya disebut dalam khutbah Jumaat tak benarPETALING JAYA, 19 Ogos – Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang Lim Guang Eng menegaskan, siasatan awal menunjukkan tiada masjid di negeri itu yang menggunakan nama beliau dalam doa khutbah kedua solat Jumaat bagi menggantikan nama Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin.
“Saya baru dimaklumkan, saya sudah pun menghubungi YB Abdul Malik (Kassim, Pengerusi Hal Ehwal Agama dan Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna Negeri), dan beliau memberitahu saya tadi bahawa memang tiada perkara seperti yang didakwa oleh Datuk Zahid Hamidi... tiada masjid yang menggunakan saya,” kata Lim pada majlis berbuka puasa dengan media di sini hari ini.
Bagaimanapun Lim yang juga Setiausaha Agung DAP memberitahu, beliau telah mengarahkan Abdul Malik agar menjalankan siasatan mendalam berhubung dakwaan Zahid, yang juga Menteri Pertahanan dan Pengerusi Umno Pulau Pinang hari ini.
“Jika dakwaan Zahid benar, saya telah mengarahkan agar tindakan tegas diambil ke atas pegawai-pegawai yang terlibat,” kata beliau.
Tambah Lim, sekiranya dakwaan Zahid tidak benar, beliau mahu Naib Presiden Umno itu memohon maaf secara terbuka.
“Saya tidak sedar dan tidak mengetahui wujudnya penggunaan nama saya dalam khutbah kedua solat Jumaat sebagaimana didakwa, dan sudah tentu nama saya tidak harus, tidak boleh digunakan... ini melibatkan nama Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong,” katanya lagi.

Mengenai dakwaan bahawa Lim menghadiri majlis pengagihan wang zakat pula, kata Ketua Menteri, beliau hanya menghadiri majlis penyerahan sumbangan Ehya’ Ramadan peringkat Pulau Pinang 2010 yang diadakan di Dewan Serbaguna Jawi, Seberang Perai Selatan.
“Sumbangan disampaikan oleh Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (Ketua Umum Pakatan), bukannya saya... ini sumbangan daripada kerajaan negeri, saya hadir sebagai ketua kerajaan negeri,” kata beliau sambil menambah, ini kali pertama kerajaan negeri menyediakan sumbangan sempena bulan Ramadan.
“Sumbangan ini tidak pernah diberikan oleh kerajaan negeri masa lalu di bawah Barisan Nasional, sebanyak hampir suku juta ringgit disampaikan untuk masjid dan surau menjalankan aktiviti semasa bulan Ramadan,” katanya. - The Malaysian Insider
