Biasa anda install windows xp mestilah menggunakan medium cd atau dvd kan? Saya akan memberitahu anda satu tool yang membolehkan anda install windows xp menggunakan pendrive.
Kelebihan menggunakan pendrive untuk menginstall windows xp ialah; proses installation berjalan lebih laju dan senang dibawa ke mana2. Tetapi, teknik ini hanya boleh digunakan bagi pc dan laptop yang menyokong boot from usb dalam bios.
Tutorial ini juga agak advanced, jika tidak faham boleh rujuk kepada pakar ya!
Anda perlu gunakan tool WinSetupFromUsb.
Pertama sekali, format pendrive anda menggunakan HP format tool atau PE to USB. Pendrive perlu diformat, kalau tak bios tidak akan detect pendrive anda sebagai bootable.
Selepas itu, masukkan cd windows xp anda, dan pada box Windows 2000/xp/2003 source, browse kepada location file2 windows2 xp anda.
Pada bahagian usb disk selection, pilih pendrive anda yang akan digunakan sebagai medium. Saya cadangkan anda force target disk type as removable bagi pendrive.
Lain2 option anda tidak perlu tukar melainkan anda pakar dan faham semua option2 tersebut.
Bila anda dah ready, tekan butang GO dan tunggu sehingga siap.
Cucuk pendrive yang dah dimasukkan windows xp dan dijadikan bootable, restart komputer, set boot from usb dalam bios dan install windows xp seperti biasa.
Nantikan entri akan datang mengenai cara format windows xp secara lengkap, serta cara install windows vista dan windows 7 menggunakan pendrive juga.
